A slice of ripoff	May 23rd, 2004
The sandwiches would be good if they had more meat and cheese. The salads are interesting and good, but the size is too small for the price. The servers vary in quality and seem a bit under-trained overall. The management treated the staff with an unexplained curtness and harshness in plain view of customers. The ambiance is that of a small cafe on the inside, whereas on the outside you can gaze out upon the parking lot of a strip mall and hear the melodious sounds of traffic on I-35. People in Denton refer to it as a "slice of Heaven" and seem grateful for the culture it brings but, this cafe is trying too hard to be sophisticated and charging the customers for effort rather than results.
