<H3>Cyber Grounds Coffee House</H3>Newest Coffee House in Pickerington offers Internet access though 10 on-site PCs and through wireless access. The computers are high-end computers geared to either business applications or gaming with 19" monitors. They also offer scanning, video transfer, computer printing and services. Rates vary depending on your need and access to the Internet requires signing of a waiver. Wireless access is $1 per hour and free with purchases of at least that value. The shop offers fresh pastries, pies from Steven's Bakery & Orchard, muffins, cheesecake, bagels and other choices. Drinks include Stauf's coffee, latte & breve, cappuccino, steamers, hot chocolate, frozen capp, fruit smoothies, tea (loose-leaved, green, jellied, iced or hot), soda, juices and energy drinks. The decor is colorful with PC workstations, tables/chairs and red couches.

Stopped in Cyber Grounds to check out the set-up, the computer gear is state of the art including 802.11G wireless access. This is the place to game on top notch equipment, however I'm more likely to surf the 'Net. I had a piece of the cherry pie, it was excellent. A wide variety of drinks, although I stuck with a cold drink this trip. They had many choices to satisfy my sweet tooth. Definitely focused on the computers and Internet, this shop could use some of the offerings of other coffee houses in the area such as a book shelf or some type of entertainment on weekend evenings. Service was top-notch with nearly as many employees as customers, hope their concept is successful. |
