Newly renovated and newly opened (April 2000) restaurant and bakery serves large platters of grilled and roasted meats. Seafood and stuffed arepas complete the menu along with special sandwiches and side dishes. For refreshment there are ice creams, juices, and fountain drinks to choose from.

This Restaurant has outstanding food, a fine Spanish cuisine for the most picky eaters, from small appetizers like beef patties to great sea food all at the same place at very reasonable prices. Very helpful and kind waiters, great work team. Manager "slim and tall" could try to make customers feel better if he treated them with a better attitude. |

The food is good, the service is very good and very good looking waitresses, and the environment is very very young, makes everybody feel young. It is a very unique place to be. The only thing I don't understand is that, why play a video music channel without the audio...doesn't make any sense. Other than that, I love this restaurant and I will recommend it to all the people I know. |

One of the things that I observed in the restaurant was the dedication of the waiters doing their excellent job. |

I didn't have a full meal here. Like many others in the neighborhood I have been curious about the full renovation that this corner location has been given and wondering how the food matches the clean modern decor.
An opportunity presented itself on a recent scorching Saturday afternoon with the need for quick refreshment and sustenance before going to a movie.
It was the multicolored icy drinks we saw being handed out from the window that the ice cream/fountain drink server operates. It gave us the opportunity to try something new by saying "the same as that."
We decided to go inside and sit at a couple of the 1/2 dozen counter seats while our ground ice, fruit cocktail, peach and cherry flavored syrup, and condensed milk concoction was being prepared. (It was listed as "cholao" on the snappy new computer register receipt, but I don't know if that is the specific name or a menu category.)
Huge platters of appetizing food being dealt out on one side of us and the carts of freshly baked goods being unloaded on the other side of us convinced us that we needed something more to sustain us through the movie. We chose "empanadas de carne" and "chorizo con arepa" to complete our snack.
Perusing the menu we saw that the entrees cost a bit more than at most of the other places in the neighborhood, but the quantity as well as the quality of what we saw being served will bring us back for a full dinner. |
