I have been here on several occasions lately and every time the food is excellent and enough for two meals. The blueberry pancakes, all baked goods and the prime rib are some of my favorites. There are lines because the food is good. |

The place is usually crowded, with lines spilling out onto the steps. I wonder if this is because of something I didn't order, or because there is no other diner around the area. The food is not all that great. I fail to see what the big deal is all about. The only saving grace for this place is the free breads on the table. The place is dirty... extreme visible dust on all their 'stuff' strewn all around the ceiling. I had coconut custard pie which was to choke on, with strings of coconut too large for the pie. It was warm... just no good. This is a classic example of owners biting off more than they can chew! The waitresses must come from a nearby retirement village. There was one standing behind our table in non smoking on Saturday 10/16/04 speaking so LOUDLY about an impending birth and renovations to her home. We ended up leaving fast. Keep going down the road... you are bound to find a McDonald's that is better |
