A small inexpensive storefront cafe and bakery in the middle of Brookline Village, offering sandwiches, soups, and salads at lunch. The atmosphere is casual, with large windows looking out onto Washington St. Cash is the only form of payment accepted.

I guess you can't expect bargain prices in the heart of Brookline. I used to go here when the Chinese buffet was just $4.25 lb; now I believe it is $5.99. I am a hearty eater so I could no longer afford to spend about $10 on lunch. The soups are to die for and the food isn't half bad; just dont forget to bring lots of cash for a tiny coffee shop. |
